The goal of the Cardiogenomics Genomics Education and Training Center (GETC) is to provide fundamentals in genomics, genetic epidemiology and the tools of bioinformatics for a broad range of quantitative scientists including molecular biologists, human genetics researchers, and biostatisticians. We are striving to meet these goals by providing both educational and mentoring opportunities to meet the needs of this heterogeneous community.

Courses:

Second Annual Genomics and Genetic Epidemiology: General Principles and Application to Disease Studies

(ARCHIVED) April 21-23, 2004 Royal Sonesta Hotel Cambridge, MA

This course provides a detailed introduction for physicians and PhD investigators who are interested in learning more about the broad field of genomics and genetic epidemiology.

Select slide presentations and video from the course are available for viewing below. Video and web post production of the course lectures were funded by an educational donation from Novartis.
